To my Yellow Bill followers it’s a new year and I wanted to let you know what’s been going on in the background at Yellow Bills HQ. I’ll be honest some of us did develop a bit of an unhealthy obsession with the news in 2016, which we have now reigned in, but much more importantly Yellow Bills HQ had a new duckling recruit called Florence who was born in May. She has been keeping us busy, happy and a bit more disorganised than usual if you can believe that is at all possible. However her older brother Harry has been brilliant at keeping her entertained while I try to edit.
The Yellow Bills story itself has opened us up to meeting some wonderful people on the road such as Ste Johnson the quite lovely illustrator who has made the book look quite lovely. I also learned lots about the importance of an editor and Dea at Fiction Feedback really did help me fine tune the story. Matador has kindly agreed to publish the story so we have been busy and I can finally confirm that the official release date of The Yellow Bills is 28th March 2017. We’ll keep you upto date on the build up to this release and we’ll be able to share the final book cover with you very shortly.
So what will 2017 bring? I will be doing some book signings at local book shops and will let you know when and where they will be once the dates are confirmed.
Also one of my favourite characters Goose has asked if Yellow Bills HQ could document his time in London, so we’ll be sending out some unedited adventures later this year.
